This will be my first year teaching SPED ELA at Omak High School. I grew up in Omak and graduated from Omak High School in 2012.  I earned my undergraduate degree at George Fox University in Biology and I am currently pursuing a masters degree in secondary education through Grand Canyon University online. I love living in the northwest and enjoy getting outside and being active.

Welcome to Omak High School Resource Room Math!

I am a graduate of Omak High School (Class of ’99) and have always wanted to come back to the community that has shaped me into who I am.  I graduated from Washington State University (GO COUGS) in 2003 with a degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry.  I began teaching Science (Chemistry, Biology & Physics) in 2004 at Hoquiam High School and then moved to Pullman from 2006-2014 (Human Anatomy, Biology & Physics).  In 2012 I went back to school online and finished my Master’s in Educational Leadership from University of Idaho.  My family then moved to Newport, WA where I spent 3 years as the High School Assistant Principal/Athletic Director and 1 more year as the biology & physics teacher.  Finally, 19 years after I left, I convinced my family (my wife and 3 young kids) to move back home to Omak!  I love wood working, coaching basketball and skiing – both the water and snow varieties.  Let me know if you have any questions and I look forward to helping your son/daughter have their best year yet!
